Dorel Juvenile Recalls Safety 1st Décor Wood High Chair Due to Fall Hazard
Dorel Juvenile and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are conducting a voluntary recall of the Safety 1st Décor Wood High Chair, Model Nos. HC144 and HC229. All manufacture dates are affected.
A child may be able to push the high chair’s tray off when it is not fully engaged. This presents a fall hazard if the child is not properly secured in the restraint straps. Consumers who own a recalled high chair should stop using it until the repair kit has been assembled to their product.
Dorel Juvenile will contact all registered owners and provide them with information on how to obtain a repair kit free of charge. The affected high chairs should not be returned to the retailers. Consumers with further questions may contact us at 1-877-717-7823 Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST or you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dorel Juvenile is committed to manufacturing products with the highest standards for our users. Any recall is unfortunate particularly those affecting children’s products. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this recall may have caused you.
