At 6-9 months, your baby plays with the balls, holding them in their hand and shaking them to hear the fun rattling sound. They further explores them with their mouth. Holding a ball in each hand, they bang them together. At 9-12 months after they have learned to sit up, your baby enjoys dropping the balls through the large opening (in the elephants’s body) into the base. They drop the balls and watch them fall, amused at their reappearance in the small tray, which they will just love closing and opening time and again. After your baby is 12 months, they are ready for the more advanced narrow ball game option. Remove the elephants head and let your baby develop their fine motor skills by dropping the balls through the narrow opening and enjoying the fun musical feedback.
